Paul composes music that bridges the gap between the familiar and the unexpected. Whether writing for solo instruments, choirs or orchestras; concert music or sound design, Paul’s goal is to create something that resonates with the listener.

Music written for a project with Nottingham Trent University and the BBC Concert Orchestra. This video is the animation created and music recorded by the members of the BBC Concert Orchestra.

This experimental piece is written for any number of musicians, ideally six, which performance is unique and based on the roll of a die - or 18 dice, giving over 100 trillion possible performance combinations.

A sound design project to create music for this clip from Ruttmann’s Opus III 1924. The sound is manipulated from a narration of the video made by myself.

A piece written for Piano and Loop Pedal performed by the Steinway Spirio Player Piano. The piece can be performed as a standalone piece or with a tape track.
